IT FINALLY HAPPENED!

Gayle’s visa approval came through!  We are now sending our passports to the PNG Embassy in Washington DC to get stamped.  As soon as they arrive back to us, we can purchase airline tickets and get this mission trip started.

We, along with our friends and family, have been praying and waiting for this for seven months since our paperwork first arrived in Papua New Guinea.  There have been emotional highs and lows as each month has passed.  We questioned when and why many times.  We may never know those answers, but we know God was in control and working his plan throughout the whole process.  As long as it brings glory to HIS name it is good as far as we are concerned.

Our friends in Kudjip might be more excited than we are and hopefully they stay excited once they have met us. We have received many emails today of excitement, more information, and our next steps.  We certainly appreciate their care and concern as it makes us feel connected.  Continue to pray for our friends in Kudjip as they carry-on the work necessary to make up for being shorthanded while they continue to run the hospital and school.

There are many little ends to tie together as the end draws ever closer.  Pray that we get them all completed so the trip is not delayed any longer.

We will let you know when the next step arrives, and our departure is scheduled.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.           Romans 8:28

God Bless,

Bob and Gayle

  4. So glad progress is being made again. I know you guys are like a couple of race horses jumping at the bit to get out there and be of service to our Lord. It sounds trite to say God's timing is perfect, but we all know it's the truth. Much prayers and love 💕!
